What is it?
“iBreakfast” is a turnkey marketing program designed to make promoting school breakfast easy and fun for students and staff.
iBreakfast is a breakfast promotion program created by the Washington State Dairy Council designed to increase average daily participation (ADP) in breakfast in Washington State schools. iBreakfast encourages students to eat a healthy breakfast at school by offering COOL prizes, like iTunes gift cards and iPad minis, for students who choose to eat school breakfast.
There are three variations of the same program available. Choose to promote breakfast "The Parfait Way" by offering fruit and yogurt parfaits, "Whole Grains and Milk" with whole grain cereal and milk offerings or "iBreakfast with Smoothies" at your school breakfast and indicate your choice on the iBreakfast application form below.
Each participating school will receive an iBreakfast kit:
Point of Purchase Materials
- Two large Full-Color Posters (per school)
- Three small Full-Color Posters (per school)
- Program Overview
- How-to Information and Checklist
- Winners Report
- Public Announcements
Who can participate?
We are looking for district level implementation. This can vary by district, but the iBreakfast program works best when multiple schools participate within a district. For example, in a larger district, all the middle schools will run the program at the same time.
When can I start?
You can select the time you would like to run the program, the days you would like to offer the promotional item on the breakfast menu. Fill out the program participation form below and send it back to the Washington State Dairy Council ANY time.
How does it work?
iBreakfast is tailored to your school.
The program participation form below will provide the information we need to create a managers guide for your district. The manager’s guide, and point of purchase materials are part of the kit that will be assembled for each participating school.
